Taken Review

Thanks for checking out Action Bomb’s review of the new film “Taken”.

Synopsis from IMDB:

A former spy relies on his old skills to save his estranged daughter, who has been forced into the slave trade.

Taken was a slow movie in the beginning, there is a lot of story involved in the first half. A lot of scenes with his daughter, and so on. She goes to Paris, gets Taken, he comes to find her. That is about half the movie, and I had a major problem with that. If your making an action film, please, don’t wait too long to get going. Don’t get me wrong, the story in the first half of the film was good and entertaining, but it needed some action there. Now, the good thing is that when this movie finally gets going, it get’s going! There is tons of action, and it’s a wake up call from the first half of the film. It’s just, wow, it truly does have a lot of action, it just came a little too late, but not too too late. I mean, man, tons of enemies get killed in this. Liam Neeson was great in this. The action in the script is what really got me. I mean-DANG! Tons of action, and it was awesome. I will say it’s better than Transporter 3, since it’s kind of along the same lines, sort of. You will not be disappointed as long as you can handle the first half.

Tons of action, despite getting off to a slow start, I give Taken a 7.2 out of 10

  1. the plot of Taken is refreshingly simple: “I am Liam Neeson. You took my daughter. Now you are going to die.”

  2. Yep-Taken is awesome though, and from the early weekend estimates, it’s going to hall in $22M. Now that far exceeded by expectation of about $18M

  3. hey i like very much film taken thank you

  4. Taken was amazing, 24 M opening weekend, wow! Awesome movie too. Liam Neeson (might have spelled that wrong) was awesome too. “I will find you, and I will kill you” That may be the new phrase a parent uses if their kid gets kidnapped
